Aragorn2002
A while ago somebody mentioned a new book on the 24th Panzer Division, called "Death of the leaping horseman". I've visited the site, took a look at it and ordered the book. Today it arrived and I just would like to say that for all those interested in German tank units/warfare, this is an excellent book. Especially if you are interested in the fighting at Stalingrad this is the book for you. www.leapinghorseman.com

Michael Dorosh
Every officer in the Div gets a bio? Looks like an outstanding work, and at an affordable price, to boot. Gotta love Australians. So here's a trivia question - what is the significance of the background colour used on the website? It is directly related to an interesting tidbit regarding the Division's history.
Måkjager
Michael...would it have anything to do with the forerunner of the 24th Pz Div being a Cav unit.....and the golden yellow being the colour for the Cav branch of service????
