Frenchy
Can anyone point me to a site or sites that deal with US small arms of WW2 and German small arms of WW2? Thanks in advance.
Juju
Sorry, but lately I found lots of those sites for my weapon mod (you may want to look at it here) but I didn't save any of them. Just use a search engine and type in a couple of standard gun names and you're bound to get many hits.
Frenchy
JuJu, downloaded them and have them installed. Did when it was announced they were available. You did a fine job. I have been searching - looking for an overall site that covers all but not a specific gun or rifle.
Juju
Thanks. I must say I haven't come across a site that covered all WWII guns. Most were rather specific per gun type. That is, search for 'Mauser Kar,' and you'll likely find pages devoted to all Mauser rifle types and models. Same goes for words like 'browning' or 'bren' or 'MP40,' 'Enfield,' etcetera. But search for 'WWII weapons' and you'll end up on these very same pages.
Stoffel
You can also look in your local bookstore I found a book by Bruce Quarry about german weapons.(use it for diorama building because of the nice pictures) ranging from most used small arms to artillery and tanks Had most of the data about those weapons and nice pictures with a price of only 5 British pounds
Stixx
Yeah books are the way to go... I've got one here called "Infantry weapons of WWII" Lots of info, goes in to AT guns, Hand Grenades, Mortars etc as well. If you can find a reasonable second hand book store in your area it's amazing what you can find... I'm still looking for a copy of the Rommel Papers to pop up
Frenchy
Thanks guys. Was trying to help a couple of friends out with information. Looks like the "individual gun" route is the way to go.

Maj. Battaglia
For US weapons, try this link: US Land Warfare Systems It has most, if not all, US small arms from WWII listed, as well as everything from then to now. Fairly good pictures for most items. The Feldgrau site is pretty good for the Germans. Also, there are other good sites devoted to individual weapons, as others have indicated.
