Private Parts Posted November 1, 2000 Share Posted November 1, 2000 During a PBEM, my opponent's tank disappeared. It was a tiny map in the snow with only 1 tank each, so we had to abort the game. Class A in my book! His tank was close to the map edge before it happened. I don't think it was under fire. Schrullenhaft Posted November 1, 2000 Share Posted November 1, 2000 Did your opponent also report that he lost his tank ? If so did he accidentally move it off the map ? He could have done this by plotting too generally around some obstacles. The pathfinding in the AI takes over and could possibly plot him off the board. Before BTS looks at this we may want to hear from your opponent. Edit: Well it looks like he did report on the main forum. I can only guess a pathfinding issue, otherwise it may be a bug. BTS would probably have to see the turns for this. Have you guys saved your email turns ?
