White Phosphorus
http://sovmusic.km.ru/english/marsh.htm This site has a collection of Soviet propaganda songs and military marches. Some of terrible quality and/or performance, but most of them are of decent transfer. Enjoy.
Sgt. Steiner
A good site with marching songs for both sides is http://ingeb.org/WWII.html . They have an especially nice selection of German stuff. Highly recommended!

Sgt. Steiner
Here's the link: http://ingeb.org/garb/marleen.html The Lale Andersen version is the best, and is the one most listened to by the soldaten, and was broadcast nightly from the Soldatensender Belgrad... Michael Dorosh
Can any WW II German song listing that doesn't include "Wenn die Soldaten", "Alte Kameraden" or "Auf der Heide... (Erika)" really be considered a good list?
Sgt. Steiner
Umm, Mr. Dorosh, if you'd used ingeb's search engine, you would have found that all of those songs are indeed there. Let's see now, they have Wenn die Soldaten, Alte Kameraden, Erika, plus.. Rosemarie, Heia Safari, Bomben auf Engeland, Frankreichlied, Russian songs, and many, many others. Offhand, I'd say it was a pretty damn good list! Now, flame and counter-flame aside, if you have some good song links to share, we'd love to see them.. Sgt. Steiner
Ahh, glad you found it. Now, one song ingeb doesn't seem to have is the Panzerlied. I have the one taken from "Battle of the Bulge", but it is only one verse. Do you know if the full version can be found anywhere?
Sgt. Steiner
Oops, answered my own question. Ingeb alwayd did have the "Bulge" movie version, but they have apparently recently added a period version. This one has 3 of the 5 total verses. Much better than the movie one where they sing the first verse over and over...
Maxx
I've been looking for a recording of the Russian song 'Arise'. Anyone know where I might find that?
