Get Some
I know that you can still use an arty spotter to target and fire even if he doesn't have a Line of Site on the target. But it takes several minutes (turns) for him to fire. Will he fire more quickly if he has a direct line of site to the target???
Abbott
Yes. Also see page 86 thru 89 in the CMFM.
109 Gustav
Not only that, but the barrage will be far less accurate, and usually more spread out. Your'e best off getting spotters to LOS of the target, but keeping them in good cover. ------------------ There is nothing certain about war except that one side won't win. -Ian Hamilton
IntelWeenie
You can also use Target Reference Points (TRPs) to help targeting areas that you don't have LOS to. Granted, you have to buy them (and can't tell until after your purchase that you need them in a QB), but they are handy. Arty will come down faster and more accurately when shot at a TRP (whether in or out of LOS). ------------------ Canada: Where men were men, unless they were horses. -Dudley Do-right
Guest Michael emrys
One thing I've never gotten straight, can the attacker buy TRPs? Seems like for a prepared assault he should be able to, but I can't recall ever seeing them on the to-buy list. Michael
Olle Petersson
quote:
Originally posted by Michael emrys: can the attacker buy TRPs?

Not in quick battles. Only in scenario design. I've also noted that the Allies have no option at all of Bunkers and Pillboxes. Cheers Olle

Something I'd like to see changed.
quote:
I've also noted that the Allies have no option at all of Bunkers and Pillboxes.

Well, that at least makes sense.
