MikeyD
I'm ashamed to say with all my playing of CMBB I have yet to attempt movement via sewers. Now that I think of it, it would've REALLY come in handy in the Stalingrad scenario I was playing last night. I recall when CMBB design was in its initial stages there was a general outcry on the boards that Stalingrad DEMANDED the inclusion of sewer movement and graveyards in the game. Who's had good luck/bad luck battling through the sewer systems?
Terrapin
Are there a lot of liches and bonelords in the sewers?
Barrold
Sewers are icky and slimy so ewwww. If you think I am going to send my troops, in their nice clean uniforms, into those smelly, smelly places, you have another think coming little mister! Hensworth
I've used it. Caught my opponent completely by surprise and retook the factory . (Sorry Nidan1...)
Frunze
I tried to cross a street without taking fire. Didn't work out too good - some units popped up back in the original location, one at a time, and by then that building was enemy-held...
Gaylord Focker
I have yet to play a large town map, but i will use them when i do. I'll have ot check in the manual how ot do it when the time comes though.
xerxes
How the heck do you do it? I've never seen a movement command that appears to let you do it.
Frunze
The keyboard shortcut is G. Or hit spacebar, if conditions allow the option will appear.
Hensworth
Xerxes, You can only do it FROM and INTO large heavy buildings. Both ye olde two story variety and the factory kind will do. Bear in mind that they take ages down there (mine took over 10 minutes to cross a wide street) and come up piecemeal, sometimes in the wrong place, sometimes not at all. The units will first sink through the floor as they start their move, then gradually rise up out of it as they surface at the other end.

KEEF888
It can be a useful option - that is if you don't mind your troops smelling like a fried turd and dragging the toilet paper that's stuck to their boots behind them! Tends to make it easy for the enemy to track their (bowel) movements!
