MasterGoodale
Here he is, all dumb and non-firing when I need him to blast some hot, furious TNT in the faces of some enemy grunts. This one is 160M away and same kind of mortar but he can fire on the same exact target  [ November 15, 2002, 09:59 PM: Message edited by: MasterGoodale ]
MasterGoodale
I don't know why these jpgs are showing up like this

White Phosphorus
Mortars have a minimum range.
Snarker
Targets are too close to the mortar. As stated above, there is a minimum range. Would you like to shoot the bombs straight up?
MasterGoodale
In all cases the targets were < 100M but greater than 50. I'm working on better pics now.
MasterGoodale
First pic won't show for some reason. But the first picture shows the mortar that is NW of the one I circled not being able to target the same area.
Jussi Köhler
In the second pic the mortar still has a 6 sec setup time. It takes a while to "setup" the mortar after "moving" it. That time is called "setup" time. Much as a "laser" is called a "laser". Does it fire after 6 seconds has passed? Jussi

ParaBellum
MG, better convert your pics to .jpg format so the poor modem users don't have to download 2.5MB for a single pic. And as others have already pointed out: You did notice the "setup time:6s"? [ November 16, 2002, 09:28 AM: Message edited by: ParaBellum ]
MasterGoodale
Sorry guys about the big pics, they were jpegs at first but looked distorted for some reason. I don't believe the mortar that won't fire has a setup time left, it's not the one circled he fires fine it's the other one I will point out in the pic I post soon. I will definitely make sure that it isn't a setup problem (yes I read all about that in the manual and I love the realism of it). I think ME may be onto something though. . .
