BeauCoupDinkyDau
the reverse (inside) of the german flak guns? The reason I ask is now that Tom's mod is in my game, I am de-winterizing some of the crappy low-res winter mods I was using. It no longer looks odd to have an AFV in normal colors like it used to with the old Alaskan winters. I de-wintered my flak wagons, but the insides of the quad 20mm and 37mm gun shileds are still white. Anyone know this one?
Captain Wacky
It's one of the generic filler textures used for the inside of vehicles. It might be 14000.bmp, as that one is used in a JagdTiger mod I have, but I'm not sure how many of them there may be.
BeauCoupDinkyDau
It was 14000 Cap. Good call.
Bruno Weiss
Yeah I thought about that when I loaded in the green/white zebra camo for the wirbles, then changed it to the newMkIV colors, but since it was a winter bmp I didn't worry about it. Good point, if I go to de-winterize it now the inside of the turret will still be white. Speaking of which, is there any other winter camo's out there for the wirbles besides the green/white zebra? Maybe a nice whitewash or somefink?
BeauCoupDinkyDau
Bruno, I didn't even think about de-winterizing the Wirb/Ost! I gotta do that one now. I don't think there are any other winter mods for them asside from the low-rez white zebra pattern.
Bruno Weiss
Yeah, I can't find any. I finally settled for this one for the osts and wirbles. It looks pretty good on the chassis, and best of all you don't have to remove the interior hull white paint, or I guess it comes with its own. If, you don't want to fully de-winterize that is. BeauCoupDinkyDau
Bruno, I didn't realize it, but those are the Wirb/Osts I use. They look pretty decent for low-res'ers, so I left them in. Position them close to pines on a tile that has a lot of see through soil (less snow) and they almost disappear!! Nice camo! Gotta turn on the unit bases so my opponents can't suprise me with'em!
Bruno Weiss
Is turning on unit bases gamey?

maxm2
I understand that in CMBB units will be able to pop purple smoke on their positions to eliminate the need to make bases visible..... : )
