larsmunch Posted March 13, 2001 Share Posted March 13, 2001 I just found CM on the internet and downloaded the demo. It seems to be exactly the kind of game for me. Only trouble is that when I am trying to run the game it shuts down. I can get through the briefings without problems, but it all stops when I am ready to play. I read that I need SoundSprocket, which is only available for US English MacOS, but I thought that I can live without perfect sound. Or is it absolutely necessary to run CM? I have a PowerPC G3/333 MHz, Danish MacOS 9.0, 256 MB RAM, 9GB HD, etc. How can I begin playing this awesome game? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd suggest trying out the English SoundSprocket to see if it works with your Danish MacOS. I'm surprised that there would be no SoundSprocket for non-English language OSs. Version 1.0 of the SoundSprocket works best with CM (part of GameSprockets 1.5), though later versions still (usually) work but with a lower effectiveness (this may vary Mac to Mac). 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
