Guest Tom
Hi all , I want to finish my second scenario this weekend: A small 15 turn battle that deals with the horrible US paradrop at 6.6.44 over the small town of St.Mere Eglise ( I guess you all remember the scenes from the movie " The Longest Day " ). I try to make this scenario as historical accurate as possible , so I have a few questions: 1.) Does anybody remember who´s house was burning in the town and WHY did it burn ? ( Was there an airraid before ? ) 2.) Who was in command of the US paratrooper company at St. Mere Eglise ?? 3.) I can´t find ANY informations about the german troops involved in this massacre...what kind of units were these and how many of them ? BTW: Anybody interessted in playtesting my scenario when I am finished ??? Thanks in advance Tom ------------------ Visit Toms Combat Mission HQ ( bilingual site ) at http://home.germany.net/101-77027/CM/TCMHQ.html

Guest ACTOR
I'd would like to test it when you're complete. This sounds like one I would really like.
Pak40
What sources are you using to get your information? If you don't already have Ambrose's "D-Day June 6, 1944" then get it. "The longest day" was also a book, I think. Do you have that source?

Spacewrangler
Isn't this scenario one of the scenarios that comes with the game? I can't remember the name, but there definitely is a scenario where the allied paratroops are spread all over a town at night and have to regroup and take over as much as they can.
