CrapGame
I am receiving a new 1.7Ghz pc at work in the next two weeks or so. It is going to be a Win2K based machine, however. I want to install CM on it, but don't know if it will work. Is anyone using this successfully? Thanks
Guest ckoharik
Yeah, it works great. Except that little bug with Nvidia cards that messes up the text areas. Should be very playable for you.
Nowotny
Working just fine in Win2K and WinXP.
CrapGame
Thanks for the input. Could you explain the Nvidia bug? The machine is coming from Dell, so I imagine there is a pretty good chance of it being an Nvidia video card. Also, are there any driver issues that I should worry about? Thanks.

But, to summarize, most people running Win2K and Nvidia cards using the newer drivers (above 6.50) are experiencing problems with flashing/blinking text and disappearing white areas. Right now I'm running a Geforce 3 with 12.41 (latest wholely qualified) drivers and the effects are minimal. Still, I would like to see Nvidia address this issue but I somehow doubt it.
