beyerun64
Played the game as much as I could last night. Do any grogs have suggestions as to what options I should turn on to have the most realistic game experience? Is there a screen when you can toggle all these options on or do you have to enable them via keyboard shortcuts? Do you have to go through this everytime you start a game, or are they saved? I was too busy playing last night to spend a long time looking through the manual. I skimmed but didn't see it, if its there. Thank you in advance for the help. -Byron
Clinton
Well the first suggestion is to play with the Extreme Fog of War on. This has some added features not found in past FOW options. Everything ingame is enabled/disabled via keyboard shortcuts however they are remembered so that you do not have to reset them everytime.
Panzer Leader
There is a short-cut key (Shift-X or somefink) that turns "All Player Aids On/Off) which, with a single stroke can make a game from play-worthy (bases, tags, etc.) to screenshot-worthy. Is this what you mean?
beyerun64
Thank you both for the suggestions. Those both may be what I am looking for. Just didn't want any of the units to be graphically bigger than real life, even at the cost of playability. Player aids off sounds like what I'm looking for and extreme fog of war. -Byron
