audace
Hello, I've downloaded the latest beta patch for the TCP/IP game, and it really rocks. Yesterday I was trying to have a game with my a mate, and I noted that some scenarios were really "slowing down" my computer. So I tried to make a little test: I tried to run CMBO with the edition I have on the CD (I think that's the first one), and the game run really fast (I used the same downloaded MODS and .bmp for both the tests), while when I tried to play a single game using the latest patch, it's much slower. Is it normal? Why is this happening? Please, let me know. Thanks!
Guest rune
It is explained in the doucmentation that came with the beta patch. Remember, this is BETA code, testing code, so there are things in the software to write to logs when the system crashes and other things. The actual patch, when released, will have this troubleshooting code removed.
