Schrullenhaft
I'd highly recommend that you have over 350Mb of free disk space for a CM installation (and this doesn't include mods that you would likely want). Go to 'My Computer' on your desktop and double-click on it. In here you should have listings of all your storage devices. Right-click on your 'C:' drive and a pop-up menu will appear; select the last item 'Properties'. This will bring up a tabbed dialog box with a graphic of that drive's Free and Used space. The pinkish colored element is the free space.

Hilhil45
how many gigabytes would you need for this game.
Guest ckoharik
1 million bytes = MB In Windows Explorer select the View menu and then Status Bar. Then, select the C: drive and down at the bottom you should see how many MB/GB you have available.
Hilhil45
choarik, do you know how many gigabytes that would be?
Schrullenhaft
1Mb (megabyte) = 1,048,576 bytes (the rest of the world prefers to use decimal points so it would be 1.048.576) 1Gb (gigabyte) = 1,073,741,824 bytes (1.073.741.824) The 350Mb I mentioned earlier (which is a full install of CM to the hard drive) is .35Gb.

Schrullenhaft
.35Gb should be enough for a full installation of CM. So 1.97Gb should be plenty. You'll have 1.62Gb of disk space left after the installation. You should be able to download and install plenty of mods with the amount of disk space you have. The scenario/operation files are very small and it would take a few hundred to fill up a megabyte.
