The_Enigma
what happened here quiting the game and reloading the mission got the graphics back up, ive seen this before quiting the mission and reloading would have worked but well. So what made this happen?
Sergei
Some graphic files are corrupt, I would guess. You'd need to reinstall those BMP's - but as it seems that quite a lot of files are affected, you might just as well reinstall the whole game.
junk2drive
If restarting cured it, could just be a hiccup in your video card. I wouldn't reinstall unless it becomes a chronic problem.

I'm not really sure of what he is saying in his post.
Moon
Ran out of video ram? Martin
Earl Grey
Yes, I think it´s a RAM problem... it occurred a few times in my games, too - though just when I had not very much RAM left...
The_Enigma
id only just booted up the game, loaded my pbem game and it happened. quiting the game and redoing the above and the problem was solved. ive had the same sort of problem before but with only a few files messing up, there i only quite the mission and reloaded it and it worked. so it no files corrupted, yet i dont see how i would have ran out of ram :S 512 ram (yes i know i should upgrade) gforce 6600 gt so there should be enough gfx ram as well. at any rate am not hardware tech so i dunno

juan_gigante
Something sort of like that has happened to me before, but I just sat there and bit by bit the graphics would come back. I've got a gig of RAM, so in my case I don't think it was a RAM thing.
