yoursweatersux Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 How difficult do you find the scenarios? Do you typically alter the number of troops the AI has? So far for CMAK (I've only gotten around to playing 10 scenarios or so, but I played a lot of CMBB) I've been doing well, with only 1 defeat and 1 draw out of those scenarios. I think I might routinely begin to increase the number of AI troops. 0 Quote
tankibanki Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I wouldn't recommend increasing the AI's number of troops. The AI won't know what to do with them. Better give the AI an experience bonus. 0 Quote
Jim1954 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Or better yet, make the AI a human opponent. Whole different ballgame against a thinking enemy commander. 0 Quote
MikeyD Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 It rather depends on which side you play, too. If you're always playing Panthers and Tigers against Churchills and Valentines your defeat percentage will most probably be lower than always playing Churchills and Valentines vs Panthers & Tigers. Oftentimes, just to make the game interesting, I try to play the side with the worse odds. And I give the AI an experience bonus. It gets boring winning handily all the time so my 'defeat percentage' is sorta self-inflicted. 0 Quote
