second amendment
Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this graphic anomoly. When I go to click on start game to try a scenario or quick battle the window that displays shows the underlying picture through the text. Kinda makes it a little difficult to read.
Pilsudski's Revenge
Yes - I have an Nividia GeForce 2 and I noted the same thing. It happens on the CMBO also. Every since I installed the GeForce 2. Dunno why. Screen setting is 1024X768, Highest setting, 32 bit. rune
Should be in the tech forum, but most likely is due to the nvidia driver you have. What driver are you running? I use the 30.82 and do not have a problem. Rune

Holman
I duno if this will help, but I noticed that CMBO never liked any Antialiasing setting other than "none" or "x4". I would get weird graphic effects on start-up when Antialiasing was set to "quinqunx" or "x2." I haven't experimented with it for CMBB, though.
Schrullenhaft
The 30.82 drivers typically work fine for all FSAA modes to my knowledge. Several betas, including the newest 40.xx series have problems with FSAA, especially Quincunx & 2X. 4X, 4xS and none are usually the best bets, but I'm not absolutely sure of the new 4xS mode. As rune mentioned earlier, the issues that the first posters have are most likely due to running driver versions before 28.xx. There was a bug in the NVidia drivers where white colors on 2D screens would end up transparent.
LibertyOrDeath
Update the driver and the problem should go away.
