MikeyD
I was watching my local Pubic Broadcasting TV last night when they ran a pretty decent Afrika Corps documentary (British-produced, of course). There was the usual boiler-plate B&W war footage, but there were also some modern-day color film of Kassarine pass, etc. Based on what I saw I've got to say BFC did an AMAZING job at producing an accurate N. Africa desert landscape. The film footage looked like the game and the game looked like the film footage. In that same documentary, one combat shot that I thought particularly interesting was a German soldier in a foxhole manning a Boys anti-tank rifle! That weapon looked a bit bigger and meaner than I thought it would.
