Hey everybody. I have a chance to score a brand new HiVal 10X DVD drive with Hollywood PLUS MPEG2 decoder card. I know that HiVal has gone belly up, and if I ever had a warranty issue I'd probably be SOL, but....90 bucks for a DVD drive with the stunning Hwood+? Can I afford to pass this up? Is the drive good enough to ignore warranty issues? Or should I save my pennies and get a drive from somebody still around?
