But thumbs down to ATI for not providing the faintest idea about when they MIGHT provide an update that fixes the text problem experienced by imac users. Supposedly, this has been a recognized problem for close to two months. There's alleged to be an update in QA. But they have not even provided an ETA as to when it could arrive. It's not something that their marketing department gets involved in usually ( a smiley for those who didn't see the humor in that). One issue is that there may be other "bugs" that ATI is working on for this update. That could delay development of the patch (among other things). So the "text problem" may just be one of several things that are being looked at for the patch. As for providing ETA's; it's an unfortunate state of affairs, but it's understandable one. In BTS's case, they already have people annoying them about the TCP/IP patch which has been discussed and updated every so often for gamer's benefit. Nevertheless people still harp on them since they don't have it NOW ! I would just check back every so often on the Tech Support forum and use the Software Updater control panel to check for it's release.
