Wojo
I was rather suprised to discover that my Arty spotter was unable to embark during a meeting engagement. Its the Australian 3" motar spotter with radio. December 1940, North Africa Is this an undocumented "Feature"?
CRSutton
What was he trying to mount? Allied infantry rarely rode tank in that era. If it is a SC or HT, I would think he should be able to mount up.
Wojo
He tried to ride a Scout, a TRUCK! and a tank. No embarking allowed
WWB
Seems to be working. Do you have a save game you can send me? Email is in profile. WWB
Wicky
Ran a test scenario (Dec 1940) and I can confirm that Auusie/UK 3" wouldn't embark (either in set up or in test game) Even in Dec 1941 Polish/NZ/Aussie radio spotters won't embark When Axis radio spotters appear they embark without a problem Very Odd
Bruceov
Their radio has to be plugged in an outlet. That's why they can't ride

Schwarze
I think allies used Wire Radio in that period
Monty
I had the same problem with English 3 in mtr FO (radio ) yesterday in a QB. The FO would not embark on vehicles. Monty
REVS
Aussies have always had problems hitching a ride with Pommy drivers. This doesn't surprise me at all...
WWB
I ran my tests in Novermber 42 and things worked, but now I think I see the problem. Look in the editor, the units are listed with (radio) in their title but slow as their speed. That slow indicates they are actually wire spotters insofar as the game is concerned. So it is either a mislabling or a missed checkbox. WWB
