Saw much of the Pearl Harbor episode, and it was good, but the real treasure was the Iwo Jima episode. It was simply first rate, including the most comprehensive analysis I've ever seen on the layout of the defenses. The color combat footage was amazing, and the interviews with surviving vets, including an MOH winner who destroyed seven PBs in one day with his flamethrower, provided deep insight into what the Marines went through.
