HaroldGodwinson
Does anyone else remember the early 90's 3D WW2 battle simulator 'Campaign'? It was a crude forerunner of CM with strategic and tactical elements, the strategy maps allowed campaigns to take place on a level reaching up to army group level (the battle of Kursk being the largest)and the individual divisions when encountering each other would fight it out on a 3D map. Although nowhere near CM standards on the 3D front I have often wondered what CM might have added by including a similar strategic element. Anyone with a bit of nostalgia for their Commodore or Amiga can download the PC version of Campaign for free from here - http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php
