M. Bates
After a couple of requests for the conversion mod, here it is. The mod changes the CMBB order menus and interface to that of CMBO. Anyone is welcome to host it. http://snow.prohosting.com/cmbb/interface.zip (1.8 MB) I can't get preview pictures to appear with this webspace unfortunately.
Bergerbitz
M. Bates: A valiant effort! Unfortunately, I can't view the *.BMP files on my system. "Format not recognized". I am running a PC w/ Windows 2K Pro. Have you tried posting on CMMODS? I'm sure they'll have room for your mod over there. The URL is right here.
M. Bates
Guh... I thought that BMP files were universally read by both Mac and PC! This is a tricky one. I'll try re-saving the files on my Mac as TIFs, transfer them to my PC, then re-save as BMPs. The principle here seems to be that a PC file can be read by a Mac without a hitch, yet not the other way around.
GJK
Is there any kind of conversion utility available on the PC? I tried opening those BMP's in Photoshop and Fireworks and neither recognized them. I don't think that I have any graphics programs on my wife's iMac that would convert them (OS 10.1), image magik maybe?
KG_Jag
I can't read them in XP either. However, my old Windows 98 machine sometimes can read files that XP cannot. I will try that later.
GJK
I'd be surprised if they did open, the header information for the files are stored in a different format coming from the Mac. I'll see if we have a utility up at the office or if I can convert them on the wife's iMac later tonight.
MikeyD
I'm a mac guy and they didn't work for me either. Photoshop wouldn't even take 'em! Odd. What utility did you use to compress them? Maybe something's getting lost in the translation.
