Guest Manstein22
Hi all In an operation I`m playtesting I placed some daisy- chain-mines for the axis side. In battle two these axis mines block a road that the axis would use. I tried to clear this minefield by pioneers as the manual says: go within 20 m and clear the field either by waiting what the pioneers will do or by actively targeting the mine marker with demo charges But nothing happens at all. So I sent another squad to that minefield---- no effect and after 10 turns that marker is still visible. The question now is: is it impossible to clear your own mines as they are already visible for you? Or is there something wrong with my mine clearing procedure? Can anybody help me with this?
Brent Pollock
Hmmm...yah, I think you've nailed the problem: they're Axis mines so why would the Axis clear them? Afterall, they were the guys who emplaced them to start with. Switch it to Allied mines and place a Landmark on that tile stating "Achtung - Minen!".
Sergei
But then of course Soviets couldn't clear it.
Brent Pollock
For CMX2 - neutral (or doubly-unfriendly) fortifications?
