MikeyD
Something Panther-related: - Panther Track Pack, early and late types. At our favorite site: www.cmmods.com I've been working up the nerve to do this mod for a long time. Your choice of two versions of Panther track: The initial Kgs 64/660/150 track type and later cleated track Kgs 64/660/160. In plain, muddy, and snowy types. The snowy cleaded tracks even include ice sprags to help you with bogging! You may have to dig to find 'em, but all the CM track sets have been modded. Yeh I know, someone still wants a KT track set for CMBB. Here's the screenshot:
David I
MikeyD, Working up the nerve for the tanks themselves? DavidI
Fußball
OMG, Mikey finally tackles Panther tracks! It is about damned time too! Now all you have to do is finally tackle the Panther tank! Tschüß! Erich
Hetzer38
Whatever you create, I'll downlaod and use it! Great stuff MikeyD! Thank you very much! And yea, please tackle the Panther!
MikeyD
About the Panthers themselves. I have collected the relevant Panther 'default art' out of the BMP folder. I've been looking them over while shaking my head, saying "Oh lordy lordy!" I don't think I've quite worked up the nerve to tackle 'em yet. But I have dipped my toe into the pool to test the water
FM Paul Heinrik
Now that's a Grog! I've never even noticed the tracks let alone know what's suppose to be on which tank. You could put sherman tracks on a tiger and I probably wouldn't have noticed.
DEY
Thanks Mike, for those new paws for that big cat. Would sure look forward to new high detailed Panther artwork, I hope ya will post plain gelb version for those as well, if or when it happens. I was playing around a little while ago trying to make skins from tech drawings, but I couldn't for the life of me make believable enough looking textures for the Bmp's.
John Kettler
Aren't yellow tracks the inevitable result of driving through yellow snow? Great news about the tracks, and maybe, eventually Panthers! Regards, John Kettler
David I
Oh I can see it now. Let's see 6 Panthers, plain and camo - that's 12 mods. Wait, with and without zim, that's 18. No wait, zim with and without camo - that's 24. Dey doing winter versions, that's 48. Oh baby. DavidI
MikeyD
And don't forget the Jagdpanther too. Of course with either early or late gun mantlet, with or without zim, with and without camou, and with DEY doing winter versions. Like I said, I've been looking them over while shaking my head, saying "Oh lordy lordy!"
David I
Mikey, Thats what I thought. I know when I started my Normandy series and my snow covered series that I was getting into something huge. So buck up buddy! DavidI
Earl Grey
Ah well, if you release the Panthers some time in the future, I'm sure enough I can do a few convincing camo patterns... Thanks to your tutorial I finally get the hang of it!
Fußball
Well with all this talk of Panther this and Panther that... As you know when it comes to mods, we CM players are like children, keep talking about them for long enough and we will have our greedy little eyes on whats to come! Now when are those Panthers coming along? Tschüß! Erich
Corvidae
Having been playing with assorted sherman mods of my own feeble semi-creation, I might just try to see how badly I can mangle a panther mod.
