The length of each season varies from year to year adding uncertainty to the game. Winter is usually December, January, February January: it is always winter February: Usually winter but there is a 35% chance that it be spring. Spring us usually March, April, May March: If February was winter there is a 35% chance that March be winter. If February was spring March is always spring. April: Always spring May: Usually spring but there is a 35% chance that it be summer Summer is usually June, July, August June: If May was spring then June has a 35% chance of being spring. Otherwise it is summer July: July is always summer August: Usually summer but there is a 35% chance that it be autumn Autumn is usually September, October, November September: If August was summer then September has a 35% chance of being summer. Otherwise it is autumn October: Always autumn November: Usually autumn but there is a 35% chance that it be winter. Winter is usually December, January, February December: If November was autumn, December has a 35% chance of being autumn.
