SgtMuhammed
In case you haven't heard yet, the U.S. space shuttle Columbia has disintegrated on re-entry. There are no details yet just that it is gone. James

Phantom Captain
Yes, tragic and depressing. As an aside though, I'm so sick of fear mongering constantly done now by our news agencies. CNN keeps talking about terrorism in regards to this etc. I mean, give me a break for once!
GreenGriffon
Very sad....I was in grammar school when the Challenger exploded after liftoff, and happened to be home sick that day so I watched the news coverage for hours on TV. Today reminds me of that day and to add insult to injury, today happens to be my 30th birthday (But honestly the Columbia tragedy makes me feel worse than hitting 30!) Le Tondu
I wonder if this gets moved to the general forum? Either way, I for one really want to know what happened.
Moon
Aww... I hear it here first. That's a tragedy. And yes, please continue discussion in the general forum. Martin
