They definitely shouldn't be the same! Eric Alkema Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 Hollow Charge (HC) shells use a shaped charge in the shell to penetrate the target (along the lines of modern HEAT rounds) so it doesn't matter how fast the shell is moving. Guest PondScum Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 You misread me - look at the AP numbers. 63mm for 0 degrees at both 500m and 1000m, and 55mm for 30 degrees at both 500m and 1000m. Extrapolating, I would guess that the 63mm and 55mm penetration numbers are accurate for 500m, but that at 1000m they should fall to something more like 58mm and 52mm. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
