bill clarke
I bought CMBB and AK yesterday, but the second disk with the mods was not in the box. I have V1.03 and purchased it from Electronic Boutique in Australia. I have sent an e-mail to the guys at battlefront about this but no reply thus far. Does anyone know how I might rectify this ?. Also when I purchased CMBO about half the mods on that disk were corrupt too. Thanks guys Bill.

bill clarke
The version I bought is in a box with a game manual, and on the back of the box it lists all the features, including over 200 mods on a special second CD.
stikkypixie
Then you got the special edition, and something is wrong. BFC has good customer support, I'm sure they will help you.
Wicky
Surely if Electronic Boutique sold it to you could try firstly taking it back to them if you think it's faulty. AFAIK There isn't a CMAK Special Edition but you can download all the mods (and there are gigabytes of 'em) for CMBO/CMBB/CMK from the the interweb thingy. A.E.B
bill clarke Under Australian Consumer Law the retailer has to refund or replace defective goods. Take the whole package back to EB, tell them that the 2nd CD was missing, and they have to refund or exchange. Occassionally drongos will try to get out of this by claiming that you could have copied/cracked the CD. Step 1: Explain that you cannot play the game with the Game CD in the drive, and you are returning that CD. Step 2: If they still refuse, tell them that they are in breach of the law, ask for the sales persons name and their managers name, so you can include those details in your complaint to both the State Government body (Department of Fair Trade in NSW), and the ACCC. If they have up signs stating no returns or refunds, take a photo and tell them that they are breaching the law and could be fined up to $1 million. The chances are that EB, as a reputable retailer, will replace the faulty goods without incident. It is the Retailer, not BFC, who you need to chase here.
