Of mice, men, mold and maggots -- it's the MasterGoodale thread

Oh me, oh my.

68 hours to go.

No time for an update as you monkeys have me locked into eight active PBEMS, one AAR, I am editing CMAK goodness, I have a crazy hectic job and I'm about to get married and move into my first home.

To paraphase Jim: "It is a good time to be alive."

Good way to keep the black dogs of depression away -- don't slow down to let them catch up!

Or as the late, great Satchel Paige said; "Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you."

Man, what I'd give to have seen him pitch.

Ah Mike_the_Awol_Squire, I realize that it is not yet tomorrow, but the joy in my heart will allow this exception.

Heed the words of the goodly Dave H, for sentiment of this sort is surely the work of John Barleycorn. And the path you have chosen to follow will certainly turn your Saturdays into Wednesdays.

I got your turn, but beng wistful *hic*, I am unable to respond to it. :D oops

No, that was not a triple post, it was the beer speaking to my mind. I was concerned about Jim's family, and my computer sucks. Yeah, thats' the ticket. It was my computer's fault. Just computer error. That was not the triple post you thought it was, there is nothing to see here, move along.

"Hmmmmmmmmmm."

Did my Jedi Mind trick work?

Bugger.

Gawd. I feel as low as Goody must on a regular basis. GGRRRgrgereregererrrgerrrrrrrrrrr, or some such nonsense.

He still smiles, when he recalls

How the gold ring fit her finger

How they made that moment linger

Let it's memory be strong

They had made a brand new start

Found a whole new way of livin'

Two voices joined together, singing old, sad songs.

If the hard times come around,

May you see them through, together

And may there be love and laughter

In the heart of your home.

Leavin' there, was always hard

Leavin' her was never easy

With those memories to tease you

Summer nights seemed winters long

In his heart, there was a sound

And the only sound worth hearing

Two voices joined together, singing old, sad songs.

If the hard times come around,

May you see them through, together

And may there be love and laughter

In the heart of your home

He still smiles, when he recalls

How they counted little fingers

And their gratitude still lingers

That the child was born strong

They had made a whole new life

Found a whole new way of living

Three voices joined together, singing old, sad songs

If the hard times come around,

May you see them through, together

And may there be love and laughter

In the heart of your home.

"Heart of the Home"

-Andrew M. Stewart

There are no fears, Axe2121. Only joy. A ballad for you, lad.

Scruffy, awful, Master Goodale thread poster that you are.

Seanypoos, old hun, aren't you going to end up ostrich-sized or sumfink by the scary brigade living in the Peng for your continual hanging around with us? It reminds me a bit of someone I went to university with and got on fine with until we saw him hanging around with the jailbait 16-year-olds from the local school. You just feel a bit - hmmm.

Oh, and jealous.

He's probably gathering candles for Finland's six months of darkness which will be starting in a few days. Either that or Keke has shot him and mounted his head on a wall as a trophy.</font>

Congratulations! You beat Wally "Triple Play" Bob.

And thanks Sean-a-chai-tea. Which reminds me, I need a coffee.

(And, yes, I'm aware of the pronounciation. I spent seven years hanging around Cape Bretoners, where I met several people who still speak Gaelic as their second language. Cananda has a university in St. John's, Newfoundland that offers a Folklore degree. It's offered at Memorial University. An excellent school if you have a stout liver, from what I hear.)

P.S. Keke is now hunting down Prinz Eugen in other threads. Tee hee.
