Adamo
in a recent scenario, I loaded an ATG onto a halftrack but I had no idea how to unload it and aim it. Any tips?
Sergei
You just select the gun and give it a "move" command when the vehicle is halted. This will disembark it.

LordCalvert
And rotate the vehicle so that the towed gun faces roughly the direction you want it to be in. Then unload. Saves you time, I think.

Use a covered arc to rotate the gun - while rotating happens before the deploy countdown (and thus lengthens it), covered arcs do not affect the deployment time but the gun rotates anyway If the gun has to move less, then rotating may safe time. If the HT rotates on open ground or worse, rotating the HT may take longer than rotating and moving the gun. An experienced HT/truck should take less time if he drives a half-circle and reverses a bit. Gruß Joachim
Sycander
Any tips for disembarking 88's in the right place? The towing vehicle often seems to have its own idea about where the gun should be unloaded, and once it's unhitched, you can't move it again. ----- Q: "Mr. Simpson, do you believe that your son could be the leader of a murderous criminal syndicate?" R: "Well, not the leader..."
Sergei
Best if you can cover the deployment with some smoke.

Can't make sure that the 88s are behind a crest and still can fire across it. 88s should be able to move at least a few metres.
