kenfedoroff
Apologies in advance if this has been discussed. I am creating a battle for Dec. '42/South. The T-34 Model '42 has Rarity of 125% T-34 Model '43 (early) is at 0%. How does this happen? Is it just like the Big-3 and the new models come out in Sept.? Thanks, Ken
JasonC
They aren't model years at all. They are just tracked that way. The former is the C model, the latter the D. It incorporated a number of changes - hexagonal turret, slightly wider tracks, yada yada. The change over from one to the other did not occur at midnight on December 31st after a big ball fell in Times Square and a lot of silly people blew horns. By the end of 1942, the D models are already the dominant element of the existing fleet.

I confused myself by thinking in terms of model years. Ken
