Since installing patch 1.02 the game crashes whenever I try to save it. Each time a DOS window flashes up and then the program shuts down completely. Particularly galling was the fact that it also crashed at the end of September 1945 as my invasion of the USA was preparing. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it specific to my machine? I have a Compaq Armada 550mhz laptop with an AMD K6-2 cpu. The game worked fine before I installed the patch.

OK for the error that occured during your move, send me the 'autosave.sav' file for the last known good turn and give me a full description on how to reproduce the error, well as close as possible.

For the second error, the save game file error, looks like there is a problem with the contents of your save folder, please try deleting all files in the folder SAVE and PBEM and then try it again and let me know if you still have the same problem. The reason for this is that the previous save game files 'pre-patch' are not compatible with v1.02.
