RGM
Hello, I'm still learning the mechanics of SC. What is the best way to take Malta? I would like to try the Mediterranean strategy and have posted subs near Malta, used naval bombardment and as many as 4 airfleets all at once but cannot eliminate it. The Brits just reinforce it next turn. Gibraltar I've taken but Malta just hangs in there. What am I missing? Thanks. RGM
zappsweden
Unfortunately, there is a flaw that i hope they change in the next patch. You can attack the Malta port once every turn with an air fleet and thereby force the malta air fleet to intercept which ofcourse will enable a fight without defence bonus. After the interception you can follow it up with 2-3 more air fleets and some fleets.
zappsweden
An option can be to just attack malta port every turn an let it bleed the UK economy instead. If they reinforce their big interception loss it will cost them 30-100 MPP per turn!
John DiFool
Heck for that matter shouldn't a damaged port restrict reinforcements? I.E. if I cut the port down to zero, how is Malta reinforcing that air unit? (In the real war they flew in Hurris and Spits via carrier) JD
