imported_Rannug
One more UK ship sunk, killed a corps and retook the usual hex but lost a Luftwaffe unit doing so. This is not Blitzkreig at all
Korut Zelva
September went on a all out attack trying to kill a german airfleet but only got killed one of my carrier in the process Line in France still holding, some more corps bought
Kuniworth
Guys can you tell me how many units you got left? This game is really weird.
imported_Rannug
I lost 3 subs, one ship, one air, 2 panzers,3 Armys and one corps.......a f**king mess. Paris is not even on the map The only good thing is that the RN is down to 3 ships and one Carrier, all but one damaged.
Korut Zelva
Rannug is right on my naval count If I remember correctly France got about 10 land unit (including Weygrand) and UK about 6-7 (Including Monty) UK got three Air (2 airfleet + bomber) Germany got like 12 land unit (including 3 HQ, bought manstein) and 4 Air If this keeps up, he'll have to use balkan minor armies if he ever hopes to get La Ville Lumière. imported_Rannug
Late September Last carrier sunk but no closer to Paris then before and lots of corps in the way....
Korut Zelva
Operation 'pop corp' continues, liberated from the constraint of maintaining many armies (one french army left) france is producing a corp a turn. Which is about the rate germany can take them down since she has to rely mostly on corp and air. UK generals debating if they should pursue the air campaign vs germany to keep on the mpp drain or switch to corp building for the possible sealion. An unnamed general was quoted saying "we don't need no stinkin' army, time is our best defense!" imported_Rannug
November 1940 Things don't look good for the Axis. Soon I might have more HQ's then corps but we did kill two french corps this turn so there is still some hope left.
imported_Rannug
December 1940 Getting closer to Paris, one hex in the Magiont line left free. A sign of weekness?
Korut Zelva
January 41 RAF weakens a corp in France (no Luftwaffe interceptions in the attack), small counter-attacks on land but no kill. Rannug saved enough mpp to buy another army, he named it Waffen SS Army. In prevision for some retribution on the good people of France? Allies manuvering to keep Italy out of the war as long as possible but won't be able to keep it up forever. imported_Rannug
Another corps killed and almost killed one more(down to one). I should with a little luck be able to take Paris before the summer. That's the summer of 1941
Korut Zelva
March 41 No Coup, No balkan minor joined yet. Is France fall a requisite trigger or just good luck for the allies? Line from paris to upper maginot hex still holding but getting pretty thin. While Malta french corp fled, Italian navy tried to intercept it. It was the first time I saw a transport score a hit on a battleship.
