[Wiking]
I'm just going to say smthng probably said a dozen times, but: Thank you soooo much for this game, I can't wait to have it, I've always wanted a sort of strategical simulation of real war, wanted to feel the power, mine, all mine.....!!! *Ahem* Yes, jolly good! Just wondering, will Ljubljana (capital of Slovenia, one of the major cities in ex-yugoslavia) be included? Probably not, since our entire country takes up about one square of the map anyway hehehe....
Thantis
My cousin was just in Slovenia talking with the government about joining NATO in the next round of expansion. Good luck & I hope you guys can join the club.
Hubert Cater
Zdravo! Bad news is that Ljubljana will not be in the game, but the good news is that both my parents were from Slovenia (Celje) so I feel your pain for more of a presence in the game Hubert

Bimmer
Small world, indeed. My father was born in Celje, raised in Ljubljana, and emigrated to the U.S. in the early 60s. I still have a lot of family over there. I'll be there in July on vacation. On a gaming related question, will there be any sort of modelling of Partisan operations in SC? That is to say, beyond simple combat units, i.e., supply reductions, LoS breaks, etc.

Bimmer
SS_OGF, sure we can meet up at some point. Are you in Ljubljana? You can email me at aeg@computer.net and we can make plans. I have some things planned already, but it will be no problem to make some time to meet during my trip.

This was something I wanted to avoid and decided to model partisans much more realistically with actual units as you've correctly understood. So let's say in Yugoslavia you decide to leave your occupation forces a little thin... well then expect the increased possibility of partisan activity there. (Hint: esp. in the mountains ) The same will go for let's say the Pripets in the USSR. This may force you to tie up some units and/or resources to quell the partisan activity or to prevent their appearance altogether. What are the possible consequences? Perhaps a diversion of your forces from other operations or even delays to new operations and so on. Ignore the partisans and they may become a real headache as they threaten your rear and/or your supply lines!
