SpitfireMarkX
Disaster in the East: The Germans captured Smolensk, and then in Volograd, Petergrad and Moscow an uprising occured, The Bolsheveks took power, and imprisioned the Royal family, excluding the Czar and his son who were on the front near odessa. The Bolsheveks, lead by Lenin have won most of the country promising an end to the war, and the Czars forces seem to have to fight the Bolsheveks instead of the Triple Alliance, Russia had peace with Germany. Carl G. E. von Mannerheim
July 13th, 1917: Germany Dictates Peace terms to France and Britain. Key points are: -All of France becomes part of German Empire -All French Overseas Colonies are now German -Belgium will be regiven it's sovereignty (As a puppet) -The Kingdom of Italy will Cede its provinces NORTH of the Po river. -Britain Cedes all Middle Eastern Possesions to the Ottoman Empire -Britain will retain its Sovereignty, and all colonies, excluding it's Middle Eastern Holdings. -Britain takes responsibilty for it's envolvement in the conflict For Russia: Ukraine Ceded to Austro-Hungary becomes independent 'Ukrainia' Baltic States come under German Control same as Finland. *In London, a member of Parliament expresses his discontent with these terms. He stands before the House: "If the remnants of the British Empire, and It's Commonwealth last for a thousand more years, men will still say, that this, was their Darkest Hour.* ---------------------------------------------- All in all the was THE MOST CONTESTED game I have ever played in SC, this was the most enjoyable. The outcome was never a sure thing until i had Paris surrounded on its Northern Flank. [ April 24, 2003, 08:51 PM: Message edited by: Carl G. JerseyJohn
Fantastic. Complete with Wilhelm -- really Ludendorf's decision -- not to accept the Brest-Litovsk Treaty except this time it pays off! Great Game; harsh terms. Wish there were some way to follow the effect on later events of Imperial Germany's World Wide Empire. Had a great time following the action, thanks Brad and CvM for posting it. [ April 22, 2003, 12:17 AM: Message edited by: JerseyJohn ]
Comrade Trapp
I'm sorry CVM but the ending was unrealistic, if Germany had won WWI the ending prob would have been diffrent from what you stated. First off, if Paris had been captured (something the French had prepared for) the goverment would have been moved elsewhere and the war would go on. (I know there is nothing you can do about the French surreneder since it structured around WWII) Secondly, if Germany did win WWI they would not have demanded all of France and its colonies. You have to remember, we are not talking about Hitler, the Kaiser was not out to conquer all of Europe. A German victory in WWI would prob be more like the German victory over France during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. The new German - French - Belgium boarder would prob started around the city of Liege (Belgium), went down into France to the city of Reims (French), and turned South-East toward Verdun (French). All three of those cities would prob become German cities but not all of France would be under German control, the goverment of WWI France would never agree to it. Not to memtion the US would enter the war before the Allies would sign a "Peace Treaty" like that. I'm not trying to start a arguement with you, its more of a debate. Oh ya.... congrads on you victory. Comrade Trapp

SpitfireMarkX
Trapp, We made a deal at the start, Warsaw+1 more Russian city would spark a Uprising event, and I let him make the terms for France, Although I didnt expect all France to be given up. But it wasnt Kaisers decision of what to do, it was CvM's and he was a bit more harsh.
