Les the Sarge 9-1
Well with David's comments it is more or less officially "out of the bag" people. World at War is a title you will want to keep an eye on. Not sure just how much competition it will give to SC or any SC2 derivatives, but it will indeed be a contender for your hearts and minds where global grand strategy is concerned. Gary Grigsby name only adds weight to this being something to care about too. Aim appears to be towards a no hex design where simple is the point. SC uses hexes, but simple is the point. SC2 will likely just be a refined SC, but it now at least has a game to hang out with on the grand strategy scene that might actually assist new gamers into the hobby. News at this time though, appears to be about as sketchy as it gets. I think David only remarked on it, to stem gross inaccuracies right at the start. It appears Matrix Games is moving into yet another realm folks. Life is good.
J P Wagner
I went to the Matrix forum to see what the heck you were talking about...not much info on this game to get too excited about one way or another...more interested in checking out this game called ATTACK that I saw referenced...
