Timbo
Consider my system: P3 500 256 MB SDRAM (100) 32 MB TNT2 (PCI) So which mods would y'all say were essential for a player? Next, which mods really enhance the gaming experience without necessarily making the game easier to play? I ask because I'm about to stop being a demo player and I would like to download the best mods while cooling my heels by the mailbox.
GriffinCheng+
MadDog Mod Pack 1 & 2 are pretty essential. See the list at Manx's Combation Missions site. Also find the FAQ with link below in my web site (the latter is a shameless ad). Griffin.
Gyrene
Vegetation mods would make the biggest impact, IMHO. Grass/Tree Bases/Brush/woods/scattered trees Then go for buildings and a nice sky mod. Which ones you pick is a matter of taste. Gyrene
Jarmo
I'd suggest picking ones you like. Really. It doesn't slow down the game if you install all the stuff out there. But since there are, for example, about 73 different Tigers out there, you'll have to choose.
Pud
FYI my system is P466, 192Mb RAM, 32mb TNT2 and I have almost every mod made, only gets chunky on large battles/maps. So as do as Jarmo suggests, get the lot. ---edit--- but do add each mod one at a time and check what each does/look like as many are variations of the same file --edit ends--- [ 04-26-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
