Tanks a Lot
I saw a request for a barn mod and gave it a shot. Any comments or interest?
Runyan99
The white door is too bright, particularly for those of us with "subdued" environments. Other than that it pretty cool. I suppose that replaces the light 2-storey? That is good for rural maps, but it is going to look very odd when a bunch of barns are on Main Street in a decent sized village. The Commissar
Makes me wish there are more different building types/slots for building types to me modded on in CM2. As it stands, there are only 2 large building models and it doesnt allow for much creativity :-(
von Lucke
Yah, well, I like it! But then, I'm the type who switches mods just about every game too...
Max Power
Finally, a place to store the horses for the Cavalry in CM2.
Rupert_2
It just looks a bit Mid-West America to me... Though who I'm I to say...I couldn't 'Bloody' do anything as near as good as that !!
Foobar
Excellent idea! As a Magua, and hi-res mod whore, I wouldn't give this 1st draft a "10" rating, but i applaud the efforts, and look forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing it with us. patboivin
I spent four months in Champagne, France, and to tell you the truth, I didn't see a single wooden barn in the area. They were all made out of stone.
Guest Babra
Ah, but were there any brick ****houses, hmmm?
Tanks a Lot
Thanks for all the comments. I guess I'll go back to the drawing board and get rid of the wood and change the door. Maybe I'll save it for when Combat Mission: Beyond Gettysburgh comes out.
