Cribtop Gamer
Hello, all. I've just purchased CMBO, and wanted to make sure that the version I received (1.12) is the most recent. If there is a patch I should download, please advise. The most recent patch offered on this site is 1.05, and I assume that 1.12 is a later version, but I wanted to confirm. Thanks! Gyrene
If you just bought it it's 1.12 If you're on a Mac "Get Info" on the game's icon, it will tell you the version # Welcome to the game. Kiss your free time goodbye. Gyrene
Mr. Johnson--
WOOHOO! Welcome to the club. BTW if you play us humans over at the CMHQ chat you will learn faster than playing the AI.
Cribtop Gamer
Thanks for your replies. I just bought it and I'm not on a Mac, so it seems I'm ready to roll. However, Alt-s does NOT seem to be saving games (I had no problem with Alt-s in the demo version). Has anyone else encountered this problem? I played half a scenario last night but lost it completely - my "saved games" file is empty. Several tests with different scenarios confirm that no save command is "taking." Please help!
Pvt. Ryan
You can only save a game after a turn is completed. You can't save a game during a turn or while watching the replay of the turn.
Mr. Johnson--
be sure to check if your sending those files to "Saved games" or "scenarios" folder.
