On 20 September 1944, the Allies made the last bid to capture the railway bridge at Nijmegen; 11 miles away a division of British paratroopers were holding out against armour and infantry from an SS panzer corps. The only way to reinforce them was by ground along the Hell's Highway.

Earlier in the day, American paratroopers staged a desperate assault crossing of the Waal River in canvas boats; firmly across they now move on the northern approaches to the bridge in the gathering dusk, as British Guardsmen and US paratroopers to the south make their final attempt to fight through the city and clear the bridge approaches so that the armour of British XXX Corps can relieve the embattled Red Devils at Arnhem.

Would you be so kind to email me that scenario?

Where have you been Henk? You were one of our regular "regulars" at The Proving Grounds. Mike's scenario is there if he hasn't sent it to you already, it's near the top of the "What's New" list for CMAK.

Hope all is well with you!
