Guest Rommel22
I did another two images similiar to my previous ones, except these are better IMHO. Here Hope that works! ------------------ Rommel22's War Diarys site. http://rommel22diarys.homestead.com/MyPage1.html saw 5 Germans walking down the side of the road, so I followed them for a few yard to get closer. Col Deadmarsh
I'm not sure what image program you're using but you might want to try blending your images together using layers and different opacity settings. It might give you a more seamless transition between the images. Then again, maybe you weren't going for that. I'm no expert in graphic design but I'm educating myself in the field so I thought I'd throw that out there. By the way, I like your use of the color red in the Stalingrad pic...nice touch. ------------------ Youth is wasted on the young.

Guest Rommel22
Yes, the guy to the right of the STUGIII is holding a Grenada, looks like he is about to throw it! I to wonder what happen to these guys in the pictures. Some are much age, well most. I have no clue what happened to these guys, i wish I knew. The picture is from STALINGRAD so they probably didn't end up to good. You never know. I would make it seaamles if I wanted too, I don't! I know what you mean, I am a rookie at this too. I am using photoshop 5.5 at home i have 6.0. I've been using photoshop for only a month or so and Don't know crap YET. But I am learning and reading books on it. But I think the images I do are much better than the ones I did previously. Anyway glad some peolpe like it ------------------ Rommel22's War Diarys site. http://rommel22diarys.homestead.com/MyPage1.html "I saw 5 Germans walking down the side of the road, so I followed them for a few yard to get closer. Zaffod
Real cool stuff, Rommel... I wish I could muster the time from school to do some image work like that... I kind of agree w/ Deadmarsh about the fading. Speaking as a designer and using Photoshop more times than i drive my car.. opacity settings for different layers can really bring a layout together... those maps you have would look so cool if they were a bit bigger and maybe fading into the stalingrad image! Of course.. every designer i know is a critic.. i myself included. So no one is ever imune Anyhow.. keep up the good work.. I'd like to really see some aerial battle backdrops too! Guest Rommel22
Glad people like and especilly fellow Photoshop or desgners. I'll try the fading thing, but I didn't want to do taht since I have a picture in the backround already. I'll try it though to see what it will look like. As for the allied pictures, I'll get on it soon. I'll download some U.S or Brit pictures soon. Hopefully something good, maybe Normandy or Cean or something. ------------------ Rommel22's War Diarys site. http://rommel22diarys.homestead.com/MyPage1.html "I saw 5 Germans walking down the side of the road, so I followed them for a few yard to get closer.
