Michael Dorosh
I'm putting up a chart on my site that will show two things - A list of the dates from June 1944 - May 1945 with their corresponding days. May be of minor interest to scenario designers. I'm also putting up the weather for every day - gleaned from the War Diary of a Canadian unit. There will be a map to show the general location of the unit during the months in question. Anyone designing scenarios for units in the general vicinity may find it helpful. If anyone knows of a place online, or has access to such info and would like to see it include, that shows weather for other areas of the front, please let me know. http://wargames.freehosting.net/weather.htm [This message has been edited by Michael Dorosh (edited 02-11-2001).]

DraGoon
Michael that's a nice piece of work. That info will be useful for a wide variety of scenarios in those sectors. Thanks. DG ------------------ CM Outpost

jasoncawley@ameritech.net
I like it too - but where is June? The Black Watch (Canadian) reports start at July 1...
Michael Dorosh
Unfortunately Jason, the Black Watch didn't land in France until 6 July. I will try and track down another source. We all know 6 June was overcast, and there was a storm a week later... If anyone has any specific data regarding June I would love to hear from you. Ditto weather on other parts of the front (especially during areas/times of interest such as the Ardennes during December 1944).
