Prescot
Hello all, I would like to share with you a very annoying experience I am having while I play scenarios against the CPU. For example, I picked up the Ardennes scenario while playing the Germans. After the first round, which ended in almost all allied tanks destroyed, the scenario was "stopped" and displayed an "Axis total victory". Now I can't continue on with the scenario. Has anyone else encountered this very annoying bug? It happened to me several times so far when I played scenarios and smashed the Allies pretty bad. It looks to me as if the scenario is scheduled to end whenever there is an unexpected victory for the Germans. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Prescot

The AI (Computer) throws in the towel when it judges the situation to be hopeless.

I still want to give em hell for five more rounds... Prescot
argie
Nope. And the system works for humans too. If you have less than the 15% of Global Moral and your opponent have four times that, you will suffer an autosurrender... The games ends on your face

Prescot

The point at which the AI throws in the towel is tied to morale level and whether or not there are reinforcements on the way. When your morale hits the high teens, the AI begins thinking about surrender. I'm not being facetious, but the best way to avoid that is not to get into the "hopeless" situation.
