BFCElvis
I am not even sure what mods I have and whichI don't have (except Peng thread faces Kitty made). Is there a good mod that will help me see land contours better from level 4 (which is where I spend most of my time)?

109 Gustav
Gunnergoz says his Realgrass terrain, hosted on my website, does a good job of showing elevation, so you might give it a try. I haven't tested it out, though. Too much for my computer.
BFCElvis
Thanks...I'll try it when I get home.
Wolf^
Wolf's hi-contrast grass is the right answer to this question. New Wolf's "Shadow" treebases included.
lcm1947
Wolf's grass does look like it's better than which ever one I have but I wonder if it would affect my P450 too much? Any one have a 450 and using it?
Wolf^
My grass is actually lo-res, so it should run on lo-end machines just fine. I have cel525 (+ Gf2mx) and it runs veeery smoothly. Beautiful.

M. Bates
That terrain looks rather brown and dark doesn't it? ------------
Wilhammer
I run a Pentium 2 350 with 128 MB Ram and an Ultra TNT2, and I use the highest Res mods, including this one, and I am pleased. Minute slow down on huge maps, hardly any notice of slowdown nearly all of the time.
Stixx
I've altered the colours in Wolf's grass because i thought the same. Mine are still Hi-Contarst because they are based on Wolf's it's just i added some more green in themand gave them a bit more life. This isn't the best shot of it but i haven't been using it long and thats the only screen shot i've got of it.
Wolf^
War is brown and dark. (It looks darker when you don't see the sky. But yes, it's not very bright.) Ok, I took one picture from the ground level. The colors look a bit odd there, they look better in real. My terrain-pack and new "Shadow" treebases are at ftp://wolf:mod@130.234.189.114 My treebases are in beta-stage so I'd love to hear some feedback about them.
