Louie the Toad
My trusted PBEM opponent and I are playing a very small QB with only one flag. He swears the flag appears as American (his force) while I see a German flag. We both have troops in the vicinity. He also says that the flag has turned to grey, and back to American, while I still have it as German. I did refer him to the victory % which is strongly in my favor. But has anyone experienced the two sided flag phenomena? Puzzled Toad
YankeeDog
The victory flag you see on your display during the game only shows whether or not your soldiers THINK they have control of the VL. For all you know, there's a big group of enemy infantry hidden around the flag that you can't see, and they're actually controlling the VL. Only the final map at the end of a game shows who actually controls VLs. Nice realism feature, this - prevents just seeing a flag the color of your opponent and shelling the heck out of it. . . Happy Killing. YankeeDog
Louie the Toad
Yes this is a great feature. Just the first time I have realized that it works this way. We are playing with only 300 pts each so it must be that slight movements of a squad will change things. Thanks. L the T
tools4fools
The victory % given to you during the battle is an estimation as well if I remember right. Only at the end of the game the real level will be shown. Marcus ****
