mensch
ted just for yer info, on a Mac IE 5.0 your links don't work at all..(like not even a hyperlink) if I type "links.html" in the url field then I can jump around. ----------- www.derkessel.com Home of „Die Sturmgruppe“; Scenario Design Group for Combat Mission. SuperTed
Mensch, Sorry about that. I have heard that Netscape works just fine with the Macs. If I knew more, or if somebody was willing to enlighten me, I am sure I could correct the Mac/IE problem. Is there a kind soul out there that could guide me? Thanks. ------------------ SuperTed Wild Bill and the Raiders Boots & Tracks Team Member Forward Observer
medlinke
I can tell you why you are having problems. You are using Front Page or Word to make the website? Any Microsoft product writes code that is extremely well coded....for IE products. For any other products, including IE for the Mac....it sucks. My advice would be to use netscape composer if you don't really want to delve into getting a professional HTML editing suite like Macromedia's Dreamweaver 4 and Fireworks 4 Studio (which I use and highly recommend). So...your best bet for now would be to redesign the site before you get into a ton of pages you need to redo! Keith
SuperTed
Keith, Thanks for the feedback. I am actually using the Homestead free sitebuilder. I believe there is a way to optimize for Netscape browsing. Would that have an effect on IE users? ------------------ SuperTed Wild Bill and the Raiders Boots & Tracks Team Member Forward Observer
