SPREADING THE WORD

Recommended Posts

I read Hawk's bulletin on how he first found out about CM. Interesting thread, as gets some thinking about ideas on how to spread word regarding CM that we may never have thought about. I have been a fairly avid Panzergeneral 1 player for a while and have developed a group of regular opponents, who have become like online buddies. I am starting to spread the word there and am hoping that most of the PG players will find out about CM via the grapevine now. I am sure that most of us have been doing this and I think it is great way to both advertise for BTS and to add to pool of oppnents, most who are already interested in the WWII gaming.

Word of mouth is how I find most of the games I buy. Rarely nowadays do I buy a game i found out about from a mag or cool box art.

Definetly spread the word to you opponents. What I do is go to various regiment page's (clan sites) and post plugs for CM there every month or so and then nag the hell out of everyone I see online till they get the demo smile.gif

Another way to spread the word is with a lap top computer at a war gaming convention or war gaming club. I use to live in Hollywood, Florida in the 70s and we had our club of up too 7 people and I knew of several other clubs down there within 20 miles. So the word should get out when we have the GOLD demo and GOLD release.
